Accidentally stumbled upon your tumblr, accidentally caught a glipse of your MVP list, and now, on purpose, I'll be calling you a retard for making such an awful list. Young 5th? Bautista, the best player in baseball, 6th? I guess you don't know much about stats. My question is: why are you so bad at this?

Oh no! Someone disagrees with my predictions for MVP! Boo fucking hoo. Just because my opinion differs from yours I must know absolutely nothing about stats! Didn’t realize when you hit .336, 86 RBI, etc that you’re a shitty player. He’s hitting the lights out for his first place team and without him I do not think they would be where they are. He’s carried the team in the absence of Hamilton for a number of games. I’m not saying that Bautista isn’t influential to his team’s success but historically the MVP is awarded to a player on a team that makes the post season. This is probably one of the closest MVP races of recent years and the margin between each player is very slim, you’d have more of an arguement point if I had him say 10th in the list.

And the fact that you say he is the “best player in baseball” is merely an opinion as is my whole list.

He has 7 more starts projected…. how incredible would it be if he won all 7 games? He would of won 26 games in the regular season. That has not been done since 1990 when Bob Welch of the A’s won 27 games. It’s a long shot but…. what if?

Derek Jeter collected his 3000th hit of his career on Saturday July 9th, 2011. The hit was a homerun off of David price. He became the 2nd player to have number 3000 be a homerun. He is the first Yankees player to achieve 3000 hits. He also became the 2nd player to get 5 hits in a game in which he collected the 3000th hit. He also drove in what would be the game winning run in the 8th inning. Unbelievable day for him. One of the few greats left to play the game whose name is synonymous with greatness.

On Saturday night, the Padres got some great luck while the Mariners got shafted yet again during this 2011 season. During the 5th inning on a 2-2 count, which the umpires assumed was a 3-2 count, Cameron Maybin walked. He would eventually go on to score the games only run securing the win for the Padres. It is amazing that the umpires and even the Mariners club as a team let this slip. This is little league stuff to ALWAYS know the count, no matter what inning or situation. You need to be on your toes in this game which is more than half mental. The Padres just had the upper hand that day.

Somebody puts a gun to your head and demands you to say who is the active leader in wins in the entire MLB right now? You choke, what do you say? Roy Hallady? CC Sabathia?

You’re wrong. It’s Tim Wakefield… that’s right. Tim Wakefield. The crafty knuckeballer has 197 career wins and is creeping closer to 200. He has been in the league since 1992 when he started with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has beaten 27 out of the 30 MLB teams. The only ones he has not beaten are: the Red Sox, the Pirate and the Astros. He had a chance last weekend to beat the Pirates but came short and the same thing this previous week against the Astros. Hall of famer or not, Wakefield certainly has had amazing durability throughout his tenure in the MLB. He will surely be missed whenever he does hang them up.
