Justin Verlander has some incredible stats… even MVP like numbers, so far he sits at:

He has 7 more starts projected…. how incredible would it be if he won all 7 games? He would of won 26 games in the regular season. That has not been done since 1990 when Bob Welch of the A’s won 27 games. It’s a long shot but…. what if?

How was your June? Unless you’re Cliff Lee (see previous) you really can’t compete with Justin Verlander. The nasty right hander had some out of this world numbers during June 2011:

There has to be some sort of stat to pertain to this but I cannot find it. This week both Fransisco Liriano and Justin Verlander had starts where they went at least 7 IP hitless. They have both thrown no hitters this season. Barely missed their 2nd of the year. Just weird. Love baseball.
